Job Overview: As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment. You will ensure that electrical installations are in compliance with relevant codes and regulations while prioritizing safety and efficiency. Your role will involve working independently or as part of a team to complete projects within specified timelines.

Our Electricians lay out, assemble, install, test and repair electrical wiring, light-fixtures, control devices, fire alarm and related
equipment in buildings and other structures.

Requirements

1. Certified Red Seal or equivalent
2. Knowledge of electrical standards for installation and repairs
3. Has experience in both residential and commercial
4. Takes pride in their work, and is able to complete jobs on time and on budget
5. Creativity and a logical approach to problem-solving
6. Ability to understand blueprints and specifications
7. Has the ability to work both independently and as a team
8. Has the ability to communicate professionally with both internal and external customers
9. Strives to maintain a professional and customer-oriented mindset
10. Good eyesight and hand-eye coordination
11. Is punctual, responsible and shows an eagerness to learn
12. A valid BC driver’s license
13. Basic hand tools

Job Overview: As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the guidance and supervision of experienced electricians to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to become a certified electrician. You will assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.

Our Apprentices assist our electricians daily by performing
a variety of duties to assist you in developing the knowledge to become a
journeyman electrician at your own pace. You would be expected to assist in
electrical upgrades and installation, which includes measuring, cutting and
bending wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools.
